The Paw Project is the animal volunteering branch of The Leaf Project, dedicated to making animal welfare visible and achievable. By feeding strays, spreading awareness, and empowering volunteers, we turn small acts of kindness into lasting impact, inspiring compassion and fostering a world where humans and animals coexist in harmony.
Our work focuses on regularly feeding stray dogs and cats, providing them with the care and attention they need to thrive. Alongside this, we have rescued some cats, offering proper care, rehabilitation, and helping them find loving homes. Through these efforts, we aim to create meaningful impact, nurture compassion, and build a community that values and protects animals in everyday life.
Our Impact
Over the past two years, the project has made a meaningful impact on both animals and communities.
Medical Treatment: Provided care and treatment to 35 + animals, ensuring their health and recovery.
Feeding: Regularly fed around 50 animals, addressing immediate nutritional needs.
Bird Care: Supported 15–25 birds, providing food.
Education & Awareness: Reached 100 + people by guiding them on how to take care of animals, when to visit a vet, vaccination schedules, and deworming. In remote areas, we also provided basic medical support and consulted professional vets for more serious cases, empowering communities to provide ongoing care for their animals.
Overall, the Paw Project has positively affected 250 + animals and community members, fostering empathy, responsibility, and a culture of care for all living beings.
These numbers are approximate and meant to represent the scale of our efforts.
The actual impact, including feeding and care, may be significantly higher, as many activities were not formally documented in the past.
Meet Some of Our Leafly Friends!!
Meet some of the animals we care for through The Paw Project. By regularly feeding and supporting these strays, we ensure they stay healthy and safe, one meal at a time. Every cat has a story, and every act of care helps them thrive .
Through this initiative, TLP continues to demonstrate that small acts of kindness, when combined, can create a lasting impact for animals and society alike.
