Co-founder and President
Chowdhury Muhtadee Maheer is a Bangladeshi student researcher, science communicator, environmental advocate, and youth leader. His work focuses on environmental sustainability, public health, biotechnology, epidemiology, and scientific research. Through research, education, and community engagement, he aims to make scientific knowledge more accessible while encouraging young people to become active contributors to global sustainability.
Research & Scientific Interests
Maheer has conducted independent research on childhood malnutrition and adolescent mental health in Bangladesh, with a growing interest in environmental health, climate change, biotechnology, global health, and sustainable development. He has also worked on public health projects funded by the government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, a country in South Asia and his home country. He also runs an organization dedicated to teaching high school and college students on how to get into research.
Environmental & Climate Advocacy
As an environmental advocate, Maheer has led tree plantation campaigns, environmental awareness initiatives, sustainability workshops, and dengue prevention campaigns that have reached thousands of students. His work combines science communication with community action, encouraging practical solutions to environmental challenges while promoting youth participation in climate action.
Leadership & Public Engagement
Maheer has held leadership positions in science clubs, debate organizations, and youth-led initiatives, organizing science fairs, debate tournaments, health awareness campaigns, and educational events involving thousands of participants. His experience spans project management, public speaking, event organization, strategic planning, and youth mentorship.
Vision
Maheer believes that addressing today's environmental and public health challenges requires collaboration between science, education, and community action. Through research, communication, and youth engagement, he hopes to contribute to a future where evidence-based decision making and environmental responsibility become part of everyday life.
Book
Maheer is also the author of 'The Blueprint of Life', a science book that explores the connections between biology, public health, society, and the human experience. Drawing on topics such as genetics, nutrition, biotechnology, environmental health, artificial intelligence, and global health, the book presents complex scientific ideas through accessible storytelling and thoughtful reflection. It encourages readers to see health not simply as the absence of disease, but as a product of the biological, social, and environmental forces that shape our lives and the future of humanity.
